Memurai runs on Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012, or higher. Windows 10 / Windows Server 2016, or higher, are recommended for optimal performance. At the moment, only 64-bit versions of Windows are supported.

Memurai is compatible with Redis 7.2.6.

Memurai is fully compatible with the Redis network protocol, so all client libraries compatible with Redis also work with Memurai.

Unix domain sockets are not supported. Besides that, there are a few configuration flags that are not supported because they don't apply to the Windows environment. See the documentation for more information.

Yes, Memurai can be installed as a Windows service during the initial setup or later on using the command line options. See the documentation for more information.

Yes, Memurai can be used as a cache and a primary database.

Memurai Developer is a full-featured free edition, licensed for development and/or test systems in a non-production environment. It has a maximum uptime of 10 days.
After 10 days, Memurai will shut down and will need to be restarted. It is not a trial edition and does not have an expiration time similar to Memurai Technical Preview.
